Meet Our Pastor
Bryan, Kimberly & Kate
Rev. Bryan Siefert
A native of Indiana, Bryan graduated with a degree in Psychology from Bellarmine College in Louisville, KY. He was called to ordained ministry during the summer between his junior and senior years at Bellarmine. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, Bryan enrolled in Duke Divinity School, graduating in 1997 with a Masters of Divinity. As a member of the North Indiana Conference of the United Methodist Church, Bryan served a number of churches there in various capacities before moving to North Carolina in 2008 as the Pastor of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church in Bahama. He officially became a member of the North Carolina Conference at the 2010 NC Annual Conference and was appointed to Knightdale United Methodist Church. His appointment began on June 22, 2010. Bryan and his wife Kimberly have a beautiful and vivacious daughter named Kate.
In his role as pastor at KUMC, Bryan relishes tackling the challenges faced by local churches, like ours, located in communities experiencing signficant growth and development. A strong proponent of the "priesthood of all believers", Bryan challenges each of us to live into that calling while equipping us with the tools we need as a congregation to support one another and our community.
