Our Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m. and runs through 10:40 a.m. The goal of our Sunday school program is to provide an environment for learning and worship that involves hands-on Bible study, storytelling and art. The focus of all classes is on age-appropriate religious education that engages children and youth in their growth as children of God
Children's & Tween's Classes
The children’s Sunday school fall/winter sessions begin in August. The Nursery and Pre-school are in rooms The junior and senior high will meet jointly through the summer and will meet in the conference room in the main building.
Youth Classes
We meet every Sunday morning at 9:45am for fellowship and prayer. The class starts at 10:00am for ALL 7th - 12th grade students. We are currently using the popular LinC series by Cokesbury that covers how current events affect our society and what the Bible says about it. Discussions are open and non-judgemental. Please accept our open invitation for ALL 6th - 12th grade students.
Adult & Young Adult Classes
C.L. Johnson: We use the Adult Bible Studies Uniform Series Curriculum. We all feel that the ministers who write these lessons do a wonderful job of interpreting God's Word. Members usually arrive around 9:45am which allows 15 minutes of fellowship and prayer concerns. Class begins at 10:00am. The class is open and we would welcome any visitors.
L.A. Daub: Presents stimulating lessons that explore the biblical message and how to apply it to daily life, using the International Lesson/Uniform Series.
Seekers: As seekers in our Christian journey we look for ways to explore our faith, discuss relevant topics and enjoy time to fellowship together. This Sunday school class is a great mix of all ages, singles and couples that look to do just that. We start each class with a time of gathering and fellowship until 10:00, we then move to sharing our joys and concerns before class. We cover a wide variety of topics and books that allows us to deepen our faith and help us down the path to becoming a better disciple. We believe you should use your intelligence, experience, the tradition of the church and scripture to deepen your understanding of God. Please feel free to join us for any of our classes to see if this is the class for you.
Family Life Class: Class consists of adults with families. The class is open and all visitors are welcome. It begins at 9:45am with fellowship and prayer time. Class starts at 10:00am.
In addition to Sundays, many of the classes also get together for social functions throughout the year.
